Reverse Polarity Sensor

When Safety matters

The Reverse Polarity Sensor checks the polarity of the power coming onboard the vehicle or vessel and if it has sensed the correct polarity it will then energise a relay or contactor allowing power to flow through to the vehicles or vessels switchboard.

The polarity sensor is manufactured and complies with AS/NZS 3100:2002 The polarity sensor can be applied under the AS3004.2: 2008 S5.5.3.2 a,c. (Protection against reversal of polarity in the supply lead) and NSCV Part C Section 5 Subsection 5B (Electrical) Paragraph 4.7.1.c (Shore Supply).

This device must be installed by a suitably licensed electrician. To meet the standards of AS3000:2007. Paulger Control Systems have independently engaged a testing authority to test and report on our product, thus ensuring it complies with AS-3100:2002.

Paulger Control Systems have gained registration of the Australian Regulatory Compliance Marking. This declares that our products are built and tested to meet the relevant Australian Standards. Our Reverse Polarity Sensor will bear the RCM marking, along with the C tick marking and our Manufacturers registration code.

Paulger Controls have gone to great lengths & expense to have the products independently tested and approved. Anyone buying this product can be assured, we not only meet the standards but we exceed them by far. Paulger Controls do this to ensure safer electrical systems for Everyone.

Whats new at Paulger Controls

Thanks for visiting our website.  As you can see, Paulger Control Systems are now importing, manufacturing and distributing many new and exciting electrical products to the Automotive, Mining, Recreational Vehicle and Marine industry.

Over the last year we have invested heavily in the Rersearch and Development of the Reverse Polarity Sensor. This new product to the electrical industry has just been certified by SAA approvals and is ready for use on any vehicle or vessel whether it’s for survey or for pleasure.

As most people now know, Digital Switching plays a major role within the vehicles electrical system. Digital Switch technology has allowed many more features that were not even thought of with the conventional wiring system. With things like, Timing sequences for  pumps, automatic dimming of lighting equipment, keyless starting of the engines, remote operations of the winch, hydraulics and lighting etc. etc. Digital switching gives the end user almost endless capabilities.

"Integration" is the key word right now, and you are beginning to see that more vehicle information is being able to be displayed and controled from more than one point.

Bringing Engine information onto the LCD screen is becoming a common occurence, computers and touch screen technology is now allowing you to perform almost any function from your TV / Computer touch screen.

Paulger Control Systems are leading the way with this type of technology and can now offer this to the  builders with very cost effective pricing.

We have embraced the CanBus & NMEA2000 protocols and have also invested heavily in manufacturing components that convert an ordinary sensor to the CanBus protocol, this means that this information could now be easily displayed by compatible equipment. Even Mechanical engine information such as Oil, temp, tach, volts can now be converted into these  protocols and be displayed elsewhere throughout the vehicle. This is very exciting, because to date we are not aware of any other company offering this feature. Now you could retrofit your vehicle with new instruments that not only look great but work well by showing lots more information.

We are passionate about what we do and would love to help you end up with the best possible electrical solution available today.

Cheers, Alan Paulger.
